Ava Duvernay’s film I Will Follow has a theatrical release this weekend at the AMC Lowes theater in Cherry Hill.
In an independent film world where a shot at distribution and exhibition is so intensely competitive, it’s important that Philadelphia area people who want to see this film succeed get to the theater this weekend. If it does well with ticket sales, the film will be given screening opportunities at other theaters! You can buy tickets for the Friday or Saturday screening here.
I Will Follow takes place over the course of a day and tells a story of family dynamics and grieving the loss of a loved one. The film has gotten nothing but great reviews all around, even from Roger Ebert who says “One of the best films I’ve seen about coming to terms with the death of loved one.”
