What is OVEE?
OVEE (Online Video Engagement Experience) is a new social screening platform for the PBS video player. We want to give you a sneak peek at how you can use OVEE to screen educational films online while facilitating real-time discussions with students or colleagues–all on a single-screen, easy-to-use platform. We are currently building OVEE beta (meaning the second version) and want your help optimizing the tool for educators.
What do I need to participate?
To participate in the webinar, you will need computer access to two web sites: WebEx.com and ovee.itvs.org. Check with your school’s IT administrator to make sure you have access. You should also run a test on your computer to make sure you have all the necessary software updates to use OVEE.
What if I can’t make it?
We will host a second educator webinar on September 12 at Noon Pacific Time.
How can I become a tester?
Educators who participate in one or more of the webinars will be eligible to join our pool of testers that receive exclusive access to OVEE prior to its official launch in Fall 2013, along with a modest stipend for your efforts!
