I admire my artist friends who go full force in embracing being an artist, participating in as many interesting residencies as they can. I kind of wish that’s what I’d spent my 20s doing sometimes. Can you imagine being in a small village in Portugal making art? Pretty nice. Thought I’d share this call for applications that I came across for those of you for whom this might be a viable possibility.
ARTErra is a residency for artists placed in a small village in Portugal. There are several work rooms, resources tools and partnerships that are able to provide to artists conditions to develop their work and projects. They are now accepting applications to their residency space–deadline is September 15.
