University of California Santa Cruz is pretty much one of the most beautiful campuses I’ve ever seen. I haven’t been there in over a decade, but I remember thinking when I visited: how do people study here? It’s so gorgeous I’d just want to be outside all the time. I guess eventually being surrounded by fierce, resilient red-wood trees and intellectuals like Angela Davis just becomes an everyday reality.

UCSC is hiring a tenure track position for someone with a focus on the theory and history of social documentary. Deadline is October 14th. For more details click here.
