Philly Give & Get looking for gift ideas from local nonprofits to promote

PhillyGiveandGet_Logo_WebI’m cutting it a little short posting this since the deadline is end of the day today–but just in case it’s useful to my network of people trying to do good at local nonprofits: Philly Give & Get is collecting ideas for a list of gifts that people can buy from local nonprofits. If your nonprofit has art objects, books, etc that you sell, this is a great way to get some free promotion!

To be included, email lansie [at] phillygiveandget.org by today, November 25th, and include:

  • Name of Gift
  • Name of Organization it Supports
  • Price and Where to Purchase
  • Brief Description
  • Picture

Here’s an example:

Peace is a Haiku Song (BOOK)
City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program

The multi-faceted and intergenerational Peace is a Haiku Song project is the brainchild of two Philadelphia living legends— the city’s first poet laureate Sonia Sanchez and the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program’s Executive Director Jane Golden. This anthology documents the project through 200+ haiku, photographs, interviews, and essays by Sanchez, Golden, Gary Steuer, and M. Nzadi Keita. Edited by Sonia Sanchez and Yolanda Wisher.
